April Market Update
As another month ends the housing market has been pretty non-eventful but buyer confidence appears to be improving as sales across the UK have increased compared to last year.
According to Rightmove data, 350,146 sales were agreed in the first 15 weeks of 2024, compared to 394,336 sales in the same period of 2025, an increase of 44,190 across the country. This upturn in sales shows confidence is being slowly restored.

Market Review
The Bank of England meet again on Thursday 2nd November with many mortgage borrowers keeping a closer eye than usual on the outcome. The hope is that interest rates will remain unchanged for the second time in succession which will restore some much-needed confidence to a fragile housing market.

Our Christmas toy appeal for 2022 has come to an end and we have been absolutely overwhelmed with the response! We’d like to send a big thank you to everyone who has contributed to our toy appeal and took the time to drop toys into our three branches in Rushden, Wellingborough and Irthlingborough.
